Sut i Ddefnyddio Bâsdata "Cerddoriaeth Cymraeg Mewn Print"
Cyhoeddiadau
- Pan fydd yn cael ei arddangos am y tro cyntaf mae'r bâsdata yn dangos rhestr y Cyhoeddiadau, h.y. teitlau o "Ganeuon Unigol", a teitlau o "Casgliadau Caneuon", (nid yw yn dangos teitlau'r caneuon o fewn y casgliadau. Gall y ffordd yma o weld y bâsdata gael ei gyrraedd unrhyw amser drwy glicio'r tab Publication Title.
- Mae pob teitl a rhif arno yn cael ei rhestri mewn trefn y rhif h.y. dangosir Pum Cân Enwog fel 5 Cân Enwog
- Mae allwedd trefn y wyddor ar ben y dudalen i hwyliso mynd o amgylch.
- Cliciwch ar yr icon gwybodaeth :
 i arddangos gwybodaeth o gân unigol, neu am gynnwys un o'r casgliadau. Yr un ffordd, mae clicio ar icons ar golofnau eraill yn arddangos gwybodaeth mwy manwl, er engrhaifft mae clicio ar icon y Cyhoeddiadau:  mewn colofn arbennig yn agor rhestr o gyhoeddiadau sy'n cysylltiedig ar eitem nesaf i'r icon, ac mae clicio ar y icon:  yn agor rhestr o drefniadau sy'n cysylltiedig ar eitem ger yr icon. Os ydych yn defnyddio Internet Explorer, bydd aros dros yr icon yn arddangos text sy'n disgrifio beth fydd clicio'r bwtwn yn gwneud.
Trefniadau
- Drwy glicio y tab: Arrangement Titles, bydd teitlau'r caneuon i gyd yn cael eu harddangos, yn cynnwys caneuon tu fewn casgliad, gyda manylion cyhoeddu yn cael eu dangos drwy glicio'r icon .
Cyfansoddwr a Trefnwr
- Dangosir restr trefn y wyddor o bobol trwy glicio'r tabs blaenorol: Composer, Arranger. Mae yna groesi dealladwy o wybodaeth yn y ddwy adran yma. Mae clicio'r icons adran gwahanol yn rhoi gwybodaeth am y bobol, eu cyhoeddiadau ar trefniadau.
Llais
- Mae dewis Voice, yn dangos rhestrau o cyhoeddiadau wedi'i casglu ar gyfer lleisiau gwahanol fel llais Unigol, Cor Cymysg (SATB), Cor Meibion (TTBB), ayb. Nid yw'r wybodaeth ar gyfer lleisiau Benywaidd yn gyflawn eto, bydd yn cael ei ychwanegu cyn gynted a bo amser. Yn y cyfamser cysylltwch a ni am fanylion lleisiau Benywaidd.

Lle mae'r teitl cymraeg ar gael feu rhestwyd cyn y saesneg. Mewn ychydig esiampl does ond teitl saesneg, neu mae'r teitl cymraeg yn llai amlwg ar y copi, neu mae ond yn cael ei restri yn saesneg ar restr y cyhoeddwr perthnasol.

How to Use Cerdd Ystwyth's Welsh Music in Print Database
Publications
- When first displayed, the database shows the publications list, i.e. titles of all 'Single Songs' and titles of 'Collections' of songs (but not the titles of songs within collections).This way of viewing the database can be reached at any time by clicking the Publication Title tab.
- All titles containing numbers are listed numerically, i.e. Pum Cân Enwog is shown as 5 Cân Enwog
- An alphabetical key is provided at the top, for easier navigation.
- Click on the information icon : , to display details of a single song or the contents of a collection. Similarly, clicking on icons of other columns displays more detailed information. For example clicking on the publication icon:
 , in a particular column will bring up a list of publications associated with the item next to the icon and clicking on an arranger icon:, will bring up a list of arrangements associated with the item next to the icon. If you use Internet Explorer, hovering over the icon will bring up some text describing what clicking the button will do.
Arrangements
- By clicking this tab: Arrangement Titles, all song titles are displayed, including songs within a collection, with publication details shown by clicking the icon. Further details of other publications by the composers, arrangers etc., are shown in the other columns.
Composer and Arranger
- These display an alphabetical list of people and are reached by clicking the following tabs: Composer, Arranger. There is an understandable overlap of information in these two sections. Clicking the various icons gives information about the people, their publications and arrangements.
Voice
- This option, Voice, displays the Directory of publications, grouped into various voice groupings such as Solo Voice, Mixed Choir (SATB) , Male Voice Choir (TTBB) etc. This information is not yet complete for Female voices which will be added as soon as time allows. Contact us in the meantime for details of Female voice arrangments.

Hymn Tunes
These are included only if in collections of other songs, or available as single copy settings. We have however, listed three significant volumes. :-
as they are the most recently published collections of hymn tunes, but individual hymns are not listed. Contact us for contents listings.
Welsh / English Titles
Where the Welsh title is available, this appears before English. In a few cases, there is only an English title, or the Welsh title is less prominently displayed on the copy or it is only listed in English in the relevant publishers lists.
Prices and Ordering
Prices are not listed in this section of the website, but all are available through us. Our more popular items will have a link to the publication within our online shop under 'availability' (click here for an example) in the details for a publication obtained by clicking the icon. These can then be ordered through our online shopping basket system. Other publications can be ordered by using our alternative online order form and entering as much information as possible when describing the desired publication. Alternatively, contact us for more details.
