Site Guide

We have tried to make this site as intuitive as possible and we would like your feedback to enable us to improve upon it. To help you we have written this rough guide to our site to help you get about.

Outline of Site

We have split our site into three 'departments'. These departments are reached by clicking the three buttons below the "Cerdd Ystywth Music" logo at the top of every page. Within each department, a new set of links appears down the top left hand side of the page. Use these links to traverse the pages within a department. At any time, you can see where you are because just above the departmental buttons is some text telling you which department you are within. If at any time you wish to return to the home page, just click on the logo at the top of the page. There are also some handy quick links to the main areas of our online shop also at the top of the page.

Information

This is your current department. Here you will find general purpose information about the Cerdd Ystywth website. This includes an introduction to the shop, details for contacting us and visiting, this guide and some links we have found useful over the years (please contact us if you want to be added to that page as we will be adding many links over the coming month).

News

Here you will find all the latest news, announcements and latest stock from Cerdd Ystywth. We also store all our old news here in case you need to reference it in the future.

Shop

Our all singing and dancing shop! We drastically redesigned our old site to include more of our stock than ever before and to organise it properly so you can find things you want more easily. We now also have a secure shopping basket to allow you to order goods from us more easily. We have put a lot of time and effort into this, so we hope you will like it.

Community

We are developing this section to make our site more useful to you than just somewhere to shop. We have a new powerful noticeboard system in place which will enable you to post public notices to the Cerdd Ystwyth community. We will be setting up forums for discussion, enabling volunteers to chair discussion and using it for posting notices from time to time.
We also have a new version of our popular Welsh festivals guide. We hope to improve on it shortly, making it searchable and allowing us to maintain it more easily. Please let us know if you want to have your festival listed there or you find innaccurate details.
Finally we have a directory of 'musicians & support'. The idea is to create a directory that allows the music community in Wales to network and support each other more easily. Please let us know if you want to be added to this directory.
